Registration for the 2024 is open.

No significant changes on our end, but we would like to take a moment to reflect on some things we learned last year. The Drift weekend always has a range of weather, but 2023 takes the cake. We started with a race slowing storm that evolved into a nearly race stopping one. The overall winning time was pushed back from an average of 18 hours to 31! The 28 and 12 saw 23 below at the start and rough snow conditions on the back side. Finish times were not far off normal.  Thirty-  nine volunteers volunteered an estimated total of 787 hours from Thursday to Sunday. We had more evacuations than ever! Many gear systems were tested and not all passed. Test your gear!!! Few people pull out their stoves and bivys when it is 20 and sunny.
